Woody Creek is a collaboration among three friends who came together to showcase the resources and agriculture from the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado. They decided the best way to do it was through distillation and set out to make spirits with a unique taste and character that was true to its origins. Their philosophy was simple: “to pour everything we are into everything we make.”
The distillery is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the natural resources of the Roaring Fork Valley. In the early 20th Century, the Roaring Fork Valley in Colorado produced more potatoes than the entire state of Idaho. Aspen was part of the Silver Rush, but the mines shut down after the Gold Standard was abandoned in 1933. As a result, train stations closed throughout the Roaring Fork Valley, which in turn led to the demise of its potato farming industry.
The origins of Woody Creek Distillers sprouted from ‘below the ground’: The Potato. The Rio Grande Potato to be exact. With its rust-brown skin and white flesh, this spud was the inspiration of three lifelong friends’ obsession to create the world’s best vodka, giving birth to Woody Creek Distillery.

Aged gracefully for 6 years in deeply charred new American oak, Woody Creek’s Cask Strength Straight Bourbon is made with Rocky Mountain spring water and 100% locally grown grains. This cask strength (undiluted) bottling comes directly from a single barrel that gracefully aged at the distillery.
Colorado Straight Bourbon

Aged a minimum of four years in deeply charred new American oak, the Colorado Straight Bourbon has just enough spice to get your attention, with hints of cinnamon, caramel, and honey in the background. Grains are sourced from nearby farms, and are distilled with fresh, Rocky Mountain spring water.

Mary’s Gin is crafted from a pure potato spirit and then infused with Butterfly Pea Blossom, Rhubarb, Elderflower and Yuzu. The spirit's enticing violet hues are derived from the Butterfly Pea Blossom and its palette boasts a refreshing floral forward essence.
