Since 1967, Vignerons Ardéchois has embodied the excellence of winemaking in Ardèche. Located on the right bank of the Rhône river, this unique collective of 12 farms that foster international varieties on a mix of soils and elevations.
Ardèche itself is one of the most breathtaking, remote, and scenic parts of France. It’s one of the oldest winegrowing regions in the world, with viticultural work dating back to the Roman-era. The area is geographically defined by centuries old canyons revealing chalk-white cliffs, none of which are easily accessible by car. Aside from the stunning natural beauty, the famed Chauvet Cave is located here, where some of the best preserved early human cave paintings were discovered.
On the project itself – while most cooperatives pay out on volume, here the farmers are paid for quality, allowing ideal ripening times and responsible vineyard management practices. The results shows striking typicity for each of the varieties bottled, while the Ardèche defines a striking backbone of racy minerality and fresh fruit character throughout each wine. The wines themselves are crafted at various sites through the region to be collected and blended for consistency.
Sustainability has long been a key tenant of Vignerons Ardéchois – after all, this is the livelihood of the people growing these vines, so they should care and tend to the land that they source from themselves. 90% of the vineyards are HVE Certified, on of the EU’s highest sustainability certificates. 300+ ha of vineyards are also organic, with 500 ha planned for full conversion by 2025.

This Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from across Ardèche, representing multiple vineyards sites to express a simultaneously refreshing and fruity style of wine. Uncomplicated winemaking leads to a surprisingly complex palate, with notes of fresh pineapple and mango encapsulated by freshly cut grass.
Chardonnay

Vignerons Ardéchois’ Chardonnay does a remarkable balancing act between bright citrus and green apple notes and a delicately buttery texture. The wine’s versatile flavor profile appeals to a broad range of Chardonnay and white wine drinkers alike.
Pinot Noir

The Pinot Noir is a joyful expression of the variety, grown on naturally low-yielding soils that focus the flavors of the final wine. Simple fermentation methods allow the mix of soil types to shine, while the high altitude sites build a refreshing acidity.
