L’Excessive is Château d’Estoublon’s foray into luxury non-alcoholic wine, a 0.0% premium effervescent that delivers fine bubbles, vineyard-driven provenance, and the estate’s signature Provençal finesse without compromise. Inspired by Carla Bruni’s song of the same name, whose lyrics are printed on the front label, it captures a spirit of effortless excess: all the pleasure and character of Estoublon, none of the alcohol. Champagne-inspired in presentation with dark glass, a sleek gold capsule, and the iconic Estoublon oval crest, L’Excessive is as stylish as it is singular, designed for discerning drinkers who never have to compromise on elegance.
VINEYARD
The vines lie on the southern slopes of the Alpilles massif under the AOP Les Baux-de-Provence, on deep, well-drained limestone soils with full Mediterranean exposure and regular Mistral wind influence. The estate has applied organic and biodynamic-inspired practices for two decades.
WINEMAKING
The base must undergoes limited skin maceration then cold settling and strict temperature control to halt alcoholic fermentation and guarantee 0.0% alcohol. Fine carbonation is introduced pre-bottling and no oak maturation is applied to preserve freshness and aromatic purity.
TASTING NOTE
Underneath a golden hue reveals a delicate nose of bewitching aromas of honey, lychee and rosewater. On the palate, the experience continues with elegant notes of jasmine, mimosa and acacia, enhanced by subtle floral touches of elderberry.
