Masciarelli Montepulciano d’Abruzzo sets the global standard for the grape, offering both iconic quality and everyday accessibility. Made from 100% estate-grown Montepulciano, it showcases rich dark cherry fruit with spicy, smoky notes, and a full, fleshy palate with surprising depth and length. Sourced from vineyards across Abruzzo at varied elevations, the wine is vinified in stainless steel with 10–15 days of maceration and refined for 20 months. Since 1981, it has served as a true ambassador for Montepulciano and the Abruzzo region.

VINTAGE

The 2024 Abruzzo growing season was defined by a hot and dry summer, causing an early harvest to begin in the first ten days of August. Despite the early ripening, the grapes retained excellent quality and freshness, with no damage to the fruit. The harvest was smooth, with healthy grapes across varieties, promising a vintage of excellent quality. Even with the hot summer, the fruit’s integrity was safeguarded, setting the stage for exceptional wines that showcase the region's potential in a challenging season.

Trebbiano d’Abruzzo

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo

Trebbiano is the white grape that Gianni Masciarelli fought so hard to legitimize. In Abruzzo, the specific clone is different than the high yielding, sometimes simple version of the grape found elsewhere in Italy. On Abruzzo's soils, this variety of Trebbiano creates immensely expressive, a touch opulent, and age-worthy wines.

Rosato

Colline Teatine IGT

Abruzzo and the Montepulciano grape are famous for making arguably the finest rose in Italy, from one of the only appellations in Italy dedicated completely to rose; Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo. This Rosato is the little sister - a fresh and totally delightful expression.
