Wine Enthusiast - December 16, 2025 "The nose opens with savory, umami aromas of hot tar, flint and top soil, then leans into the sweetness of ripe bing and black cherries. The palate uses warm, high-toned citrus notes to outline tangy, tart cherries and berries, above an anchor of cool earth, while vigorous acid adds a lightning bolt of energy."

The wine presents a good concentration on the mid-palate and a persistent aftertaste, with a rounded and voluptuous body, and interesting, silky tannins, typical of the prestigious wines of Montalcino.
