Champagne Bollinger Special Cuvée NV

Champagne

September 10, 2026 - Special Cuvée is a Champagne that defies category. Pinot Noir, the most demanding grape in the region, makes up at least 60 percent of the blend, giving structure, depth and signature red fruit. One-third is fermented in oak barrels, adding silkier texture and layered flavor. Reserve wines aged in magnums under cork for up to 15 years are hand disgorged into the blend, bringing richness and complexity. Aged much longer than most Champagnes, Special Cuvée offers freshness, savory nuance and velvety texture. It is a true expression of Bollinger’s devotion at every step.

Wine Spectator - December 01, 2021 "A vinous Champagne, this has pinot-noir depths of flavor, the structure enhanced by barrel-fermented reserve wines. Youthfully blunt in its power, this will benefit from a year in the cellar,…

Rotem & Mounir Saouma Châteauneuf-du-Pape Magis 2020

Chateauneuf-du-Pape

September 09, 2026 - Another unsurprising but jawdropping discovery when encountering the Saouma wines: Magis, Mounir’s white Chateauneuf from the heavily limestone Pierredon vineyard in Bedarrides. It makes sense that a producer of great white Burgundy would quickly become enchanted by the possibilities here. Only 3% of Chateauneuf is white, and virtually all of it is bottled after 6 months. Mounir’s chateauneuf is aged 18-24 months and has already been compared to some of the great white Burgundy crus for its depth and minerality.

Marqués de Riscal Baron de Chirel Rioja 2020

Rioja DOCa

September 07, 2026 - Born in 1986 from the Marqués de Riscal’s close relationship to some of the top winemakers in Bordeaux, the Barón de Chirel in many ways kicked off a new era of Rioja. Chosen from very old (80-110 years), low-yielding parcels of high-altitude Tempranillo and Cabernet vines around Elciego, these grapes undergo a meticulous process of selection before a special vinification process. The care that goes into this wine has cemented its prestige among discerning customers.

Blended after the first year, it returns to barrel for further refinement. With its remarkable balance and depth, Ornellaia captures the unique identity of each vintage and has the structure to evolve beautifully for decades.

Marqués de Riscal Frank Gehry Selection Rioja 2022

Rioja DOCa

September 03, 2026 - A wine destined to write some of the most beautiful pages of Rioja wine in the 21st century. It takes its name from one of the greatest architects of modern times and the creator of the emblematic Hotel Marqués de Riscal. From vineyards of over 80 years, the Frank Gehry Selección is a wine of pure hedonism. A wine to caress the senses. The second glass is better than the first, when it has had a chance to breathe and opens up to reveal the quantity of nuances it displays. When it is made, production is between 3,000-5,000 bottles.

James Suckling - July 28, 2025 "Aromas of blueberries, black currants, violets and spices. Medium-bodied with a solid core of fruit and hints of cedar and spices. Long and flavorful finish."
