Two of Bollinger’s classified Grands crus, Chaudes Terres and Clos St. Jacques, continue to be farmed using traditional methods that date back to pre-phylloxera times. Created by Madame Lily Bollinger in 1969 to commemorate her 70th birthday and released in 1974, the wine quickly became a collectible, embodying a bygone era. Its rarity makes it one of the most sought-after and collectable Champagnes in the world.
