Our Producers
We are obsessed with excellence, with the vision, restlessness and wisdom required to make and do something extraordinary. The magic of wine is that this drive translates to an object of emotion, one that touches you with beauty, pleasure and fascination. We believe our producers represent the greatest collection of exceptional wines in the world.
Riverine
Swartland
Riverine is the latest brand from Renegade Wines. Most canned wines on the market today are made to fit their container. Franxois's wines are made with the same approach that he takes at Blackwater: sustainable farming, wild yeast fermentation, and being hands-on in the cellar but never with heavy hands. Bridging the gap between old school and new wave, he makes varietally correct wines from extremely carefully sourced fruit – they just happen to be in a can.
Thistle & Weed
Western Cape
Inspired by the encroaching weeds found amongst the vines grown in the Cape, Etienne and Steph draw parallels between thistles and weeds and the uncompromising tenacity and survival skills of grapevines. Each wine is dedicated to one of their favorite nuisances, using the colloquial Afrikaans term for each, reminding the drinker that these wines are unapologetically Kaaps (Cape Wines).
Walnut Block
Marlborough
Walnut Block is the vision of two brothers, Clyde and Nigel Sowman, who have joined together to create a range of wines reflecting their collective experience and passions. Situated in the renowned Wairau Valley, Walnut Block Wines takes its name from the landmark walnut tree within the vineyard itself. The 17-hectare vineyard is located on the Wairau Valley plains, a dry ancient riverbed which has created a prime growing area for great wines.
Wildman Wines
South Australia
Tim Wildman is a British-born Master of Wine who runs his own portfolio wine business involving travel, education and film. It was time spent traveling that gave Tim the idea of making wine, and more importantly pét-nat.
Worlds Apart
Mclaren Vale
Worlds Apart Wines was launched in 2017 by Louis and his fiancé, Hannah Jeffrey, with the simple goal of making thoughtful wine that tastes good. Their wines would technically be considered natural, with no additives but minimal sulfur, but they don’t get hung up on dogma.
Yetti and the Kokonut
Mclaren Vale
A friendship turned into a balanced wine making partnership, Yetti manages the winemaking and vineyards and Koko handles the sales side of the biz plus helps in the cellar. Together they make the wine. Strongly believing that it all starts in the vineyard. The name Yetti and the Kokonut comes from our nicknames given during vintage. These wines are colorful, flavorful and a little tongue in cheek. Best served with good friends and plenty of good vibes.
Boxhead
Western Cape
The granitic and shale riddled soils of Swartland became a blank page to write the next chapter of this brand, which was formerly sourced from South Australia. The bottle still shows that familiar cubic dome of a mascot, while the juice inside remains a familiar flavor with optimum ripe fruit flavors, supple texture and chewy tannins.
Anseillan
Pauillac, Bordeaux, France
Anseillan has been a part of the Lafite-Rothschild estate since 1970. From the Château, this small hamlet can be seen on the eastern horizon at the top of a gravel ridge at the edge of marshes, forests and meadows. The debut 2018 vintage released in 2022, a more merlot-dominant wine, and an exciting opportunity to taste a unique component of the Lafite blend.
Marqués de Riscal
Rioja, Spain
Marqués de Riscal has been for over 150 years one of the most continuously innovative and dynamic wine producers in the world. The first Rioja winery to bottle their wines, the first to age their wines in barrel, the pioneer in Rueda, the construction of their City of Wine, and today the World’s #1 Most Admired Vineyard. Today, Marqués de Riscal continues their tradition of uncompromising quality with a unique, signature style respected worldwide as the benchmark for the region.
Domaine Hubert Brochard
Loire Valley, France
Since its creation in 1900, Hubert Brochard has been committed to producing wines representative of the diversity of the Sancerre terroirs. It is this richness of the land, the plurality of styles and personalities, the meeting of cultures and know-how that allows one to (re)discover the subtleties of this appellation. The Brochard team is led by esteemed winemaker Rodrigo Zamorano with a precise target: to showcase the unique individuality of Sancerre Terroirs.
William Fèvre
Chablis, France
Starting with a modest seven-hectare plot in 1959, William Fèvre today is not only one of the most influential landowners in Chablis — possessing an impressive 70 hectares of vineyards (all vinified separately) — they also indisputably have the greatest holdings, including 15.9 hectares classified as Premiers Crus and 15.2 as Grand Crus. The vineyards boast an impressive average vine age ranging from 30 to 60 years and have been farmed organically since 2000.
Domaine d’Aussières
Languedoc, France
When it comes to heritage, not many wineries can measure up to Domaine d’Aussières. From supplying wine to ancient Rome nearly 2,000 years ago to falling under the ownership of Napoleon after the French Revolution, this tiny village in the Corbières AOC has seen its share of history. In 1999, Aussières was acquired by DBR Lafite and has since become a leader in organic farming, sustainability and social responsibility.
Rocca di Montegrossi
Chianti Classico
Rocca di Montegrossi is located near Monti in Chianti, one of the finest parts of Chianti Classico. Marco Ricasoli Firidolfi, current owner of the estate, is a descendant of Bettino Ricasoli, who played a central role in the history of the Chianti Classico region and laid the foundations for Chianti Classico wine. The winery’s forward-thinking philosophies generate sophisticated wines that brilliantly express this unique part of Tuscany.
Château de La Chaize
Beaujolais, France
Château de La Chaize is a crown jewel of Beaujolais and classified as a French national heritage site due to its magnificent garden designed by André Le Nôtre, renowned landscape architect to King Louis XIV of France. All wines are made exclusively from estate vineyards and are proudly certified organic, starting with the 2022 Brouilly wines and Fleurie from 2023.
Roseblood d’Estoublon
Provence, France
Founded in 1489, Château d’Estoublon is one of the most remarkable estates in France, and has launched with Roseblood d’Estoublon, the most dynamic luxury rosé in the market. Roseblood embodies a history of excellence, a commitment to a special land in the French Provence countryside, and the vision of its extraordinary team of owners.
