VINEYARD
Grapes are sourced from clay and limestone sites between the Côte Chalonnaise and the Côte de Beaune, resulting in an effortless balance of ripeness and acidity.
WINEMAKING
Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at low temperature (16°) for 15-20
days. Aged in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels (1 to 6 years old, 228L) with classic Burgundian toasting, bringing roundness and delicacy.
VINTAGE
The 2023 Burgundy vintage saw a warm, damp winter, a mild but fluctuating spring, and a summer of alternating heat and rain. Budbreak was delayed until April, helping vineyards avoid frost. Flowering occurred under ideal conditions in late May and early June. Summer was warm without extreme heat, though rainfall increased mildew pressure. Harvest began in early September, with some green harvesting needed. The vintage is both generous and high-quality, with wines showing balance and aging potential.
TASTING NOTE
Pale gold color. Delicate floral fragrances mixed with citrus fruit and a hint of minerality. Well-structured and precise with a well-integrated acidity. Refreshing aftertaste with zesty notes.
