Domaine Chanson Pinot Noir Le Bourgogne 2018
“Dark ruby color with purple nuances. Intense aromas of ripe black currant mixed with spices and licorice. Crunchy and generous. Complex and deep texture. Well-crafted tannins. Long and fruity aftertaste. Super “everyday” Burgundy, ideal with braised and roasted meats, as well as meat-sauced pasta.”
Chateau Montelena Zinfandel 2015
“The energetic nature of the palate perfectly reflects the complexity of the growing season as bright acid contrasts black pepper, which yields plenty of ripe raspberries and cherry candy. This, in turn, transitions to fresh mint and abundant spicy cloves.”
Gary Farrell Russian River Selection Pinot Noir 2017
“This elegant Pinot Noir opens with alluring aromas of Bing cherry, pomegranate, boysenberry syrup and preserved raspberries. Flavors of Cremini mushrooms and cherry cola with hints of white pepper and clove unfold on the palate. The supple tannins develop into a soft, silky finish complimented with abundant acidity on the finish.”
Napa Valley, California
Produced from grapes grown on the Montelena Estate vineyard, the Zinfandel is a classically-structured, subtle and refined wine. Planted in volcanic soil, combined with 10-year-old vines in alluvial soil, this is a stunning wine known for its spicy, ripe berry flavor.
The grapes for Domaine Chanson’s Bourgogne Rouge are sourced exclusively from select estate-owned vineyards in the Côte de Nuits, as well as several terroirs located in the southern part of the Côte de Beaune.

In 1985, Winemaker Gary Farrell released his 55 cases of 1982 Rochioli-Allen Pinot Noir to widespread critical acclaim. Since that release, the team at Gary Farrell Winery has consistently focused on rigorous vineyard selection, outstanding grower relationships, and superior quality fruit. For the past 8 years, the current owners have been dedicated to enhancing Gary Farrell’s legacy with a single-minded focus on quality.
Calistoga, Napa Valley, California
In 1976 Chateau Montelena put California at the forefront of the wine world. That year a who's-who of the French wine establishment gathered in Paris for a blind tasting of French and American wines. When the scores were tallied, the top-ranking white wine was Chateau Montelena's 1973 Chardonnay. Montelena today continues to be a quality benchmark in Napa Valley, producing some of the finest Cabernet and Chardonnay in California.
Chanson is a true mid-size Domaine. Unlike many of their competitors, their wines are produced using the grower model rather than the négociant model. They have extensive holdings of over 111 acres of exclusively Premier and Grand Cru vineyards in the heart of Burgundy. Chanson is obsessed with maintaining a consistent quality level across the entire range. The wines have a seductive and distinctive style due to the rigorous approach to viticulture and vinification.
