Woody Creek’s Colorado Gin is crafted from their pure potato spirit, redistilled with local juniper berries handpicked by the master distiller, along with a thoughtful blend of 12 other botanicals. This modern expression of a treasured spirit will both surprise and delight the pickiest of gin drinkers from the Rocky Mountains to London.

Fermentation

Just days or hours after being pulled from the ground, Woody Creek’s estate managed Rio Grande potatoes are washed, peeled, mashed, and fermented in stainless steel tanks. Fermentation takes about 3 days

Distillation

Custom-made CARL stills: 2 x 2,000 Liter, copper, Continuous 34-foot rectification column still with 21 plates. Water sourced from springs in the Rocky Mountains

Botanicals

Citrus, Lemongrass, Juniper, Coriander, Cinnamon, Angelica, Hibiscus, Grains of Paradise, Lavender, Cranberries, Rose Hips. Steeped in a 50% abv potato base spirit for 18 hours before a second distillation

Tasting Note

An invigorating mix of fruity, herbaceous and smoky qualities comes together to form a uniquely complex profile in the Gin. The mix of hibiscus and rose hips provide a round and robust profile, neatly cut with a citrusy note from the lemongrass.
