VINEYARD
This wine grows from a vineyard 200 meters above sea level exposed to the southwest planted in the clay-rich soils typical of the area.
WINEMAKING
Hand-sorted; spontaneous fermentation in stainless steel with light pumpovers at first; malolactic conversion in new French oak barriques
VINTAGE
The 2022 growing season in Tuscany was marked by a late budbreak and an extended dry spell from May through much of the summer. Despite the stress, timely late-summer rains revitalized the vines, allowing balanced ripening and healthy fruit. Harvest took place under ideal conditions, yielding concentrated yet refined wines that express the Mediterranean warmth of the vintage with freshness, structure, and remarkable depth.
TASTING NOTE
A kaleidoscopic bouquet of dark fruits and spice notes flows into a powerful, vigorous wine with wonderfully elegant tannins.
