WINEMAKING

The wine is made from Sangiovese with a percentage of Cabernet Sauvignon. It ages for four months in stainless steel and an additional two months in bottle.

VINTAGE

The 2024 Tuscan growing season was largely favorable, starting with a mild winter and spring, followed by a hot, dry summer. Heavy rains in May and June replenished water reserves, helping vines endure the summer heat. August rains arrived at the right time, balancing sugars and acidity for optimal ripening. The harvest was demanding but rewarding, with good yields and excellent grape quality. This vintage marks a recovery from the lighter 2023 vintage.

Wine Enthusiast - September 14, 2026 "The nose entices with aromas of coffee beans, milk chocolate, black cherries, and blackberries. Blueberries join more blackberries to headline the palate, beneath a squeeze of citrus and flakes of Maldon salt, creating a wine which is tart and tangy through the finish."

Massovivo Vermentino

IGT Toscana

Massovivo Vermentino captures the coastal soul of Tenuta Ammiraglia. Named after the “living rocks” scattered through the Maremma hills, this wine is vibrant and mineral-driven, shaped by sea breezes and sun. Aromas of pineapple, mango, and citrus are layered with wild herbs, broom, and a salty lift. On the palate, it’s round yet refreshing, with a seamless balance between fruit and freshness. Fermented and aged in stainless steel on fine lees, Massovivo is a sleek, expressive Vermentino with unmistakable Mediterranean character.
