Beaune 1er Cru
January 08, 2026 - Domaine Chanson Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches comes from one of Beaune’s top vineyards, where Chanson owns 11 acres. The vineyard is located on the sunny, east-facing slopes of Mont Saint-Désiré, bordering the Premiers Crus of Pommard. A 5.4-acre plot at the top is planted with Chardonnay. The wine has a pale gold color with floral aromas, white-fleshed fruits, citrus notes, and subtle minerality. Rich, powerful, and complex, it also has nuanced woody characteristics. The name refers to beehives once kept here, with “mouches à miel” meaning “honey flies.”
