The vineyards of Ammura stretch across an awe-inspiring landscape, with views extending from the vast blue sea to the imposing presence of Mount Etna. Situated at 1,870 ft asl in the Etna Natural Park, Ammura is a 37-acre estate that enjoys an exceptional terroir, defined by rich volcanic soils and a distinctive microclimate, native grape varieties thrive. Nerello Mascalese is known for its elegance, offering silky tannins, vibrant minerality, and an aromatic bouquet with notes of red berries, spices, and ethereal undertones. Carricante, the iconic white variety of Etna, delivers zesty freshness, lively acidity, and excellent ageing potential, with aromas of citrus, Mediterranean herbs, and volcanic salinity.
Each bottle of Ammura captures the essence of this rugged and intense land, translating it into a sensory experience rooted in identity and character. The estate includes a 1,500-square-metre winery, dedicated to vinification and aging, where attention to detail and craftsmanship come together to create wines that authentically express the volcanic soul of Etna. Ammura Etna Rosso captures Mount Etna’s signature balance of brightness and depth through a Nerello Mascalese-led blend. A mountain-grown Italian red built for versatility at the table and defined by Etna’s volcanic energy.
Etna Rosso Contrada

Ammura Etna Rosso Contrada is the estate’s most age-worthy and refined red, crafted from a small parcel in the Alboretto–Chiuse del Signore Contrada. The grapes come from 20-year-old Nerello Mascalese vines on Etna’s northeast slope at 2,130 ft. A wine of refined structure, medium body, and ethereal minerality.
