“The 2017 Chardonnay Avellana Vineyard was fermented in 45% new French oak and aged 20 months in neutral oak. It is slow to open on the nose, taking its time to offer scents of fresh quince, white apricot, citrus blossom, stone and a toasty touch, with nutty nuances coming through with time. In the mouth, it’s medium-bodied with a silky texture and bright, fresh fruit character, framed by tangy acidity and finishing very long.”
