“Starting with the 2015 Ferrer Bobet, this blend of 50% Carignan, 25% Grenache, 16% Syrah, and the balance Cabernet Sauvignon sports a deep purple color as well as Rhône-like bouquet of smoked black fruits, ground herbs, leather, dried earth, and licorice. It’s rich, with a medium to full-bodied mouthfeel, good acidity, and light tannins, all making for a beautiful balanced, elegant, seamless wine to enjoy over the coming decade.”
