Tommasi
Lugana 2024
Lugana
Tommasi Lugana Le Fornaci comes from the southern shores of Lake Garda, where the Turbiana grape thrives in the clay-rich soils of Lugana. Tommasi’s long-standing estate in San Martino della Battaglia produces elegant, citrus-driven white wines with vibrant acidity and impressive aging potential. Estate farming and lees aging create a wine with real structure, aromatic complexity, and drinkability. Versatile and stylish, Le Fornaci captures the energy and finesse that have made Lugana one of Italy’s most exciting white wine regions.
VINEYARD
There are two vineyard sites from which the grapes are sourced: Le Fornaci, which lies close to the lake, just 2 miles south of Sirmione, the famous resort town of Lake Garda, and San Martino, which is located further inland. The soils at the Le Fornaci site are characterized by a particularly dense clay, which contributes a greater sense of structure to the wines, while the soils at San Martino are sandier and tend to produce wines with more intense aromas.
WINEMAKING
Following a delicate harvest, the fruit is fermented with skin contact for one day at low temperatures. After stripping by natural sedimentation, a slow fermentation continues at 14 ° / 18 °C. The wine lastly ages for three months on its lees and the fine yeasts in stainless steel.
VINTAGE
The 2024 Veneto growing season began with a rainy spring, causing initial challenges for the vines. Intense heat followed by unusual rainfall in August and September helped the vines recover. These conditions led to an early harvest, with some areas seeing grapes ripen faster than usual. Despite the challenges, winemakers were optimistic about the vintage, with expectations for a high-quality harvest. The combination of heat, rain, and early harvest resulted in fresh wines with depth and complexity.
TASTING NOTE
Fruity and fragrant, with notes of tropical fruit and grapefruit. The taste is dry and harmonious and it has an elegant freshness. The wine is intense, persistent and mineral with a pleasant hint of almond on the finish.

Reviews
Vinous - September 1, 2025 "The 2024 Lugana Le Fornaci bursts from the glass with a pungent array of tropical citrus and florals complementing green melon. It entices with its fruit-forward personality, nicely offset by a tinge of sour lemon and salty minerals. The 2024 leaves the palate completely reset and aching for another sip as nuances of mint slowly fade."

Ripasso Valpolicella
Valpolicella Classico Superiore DOC
This wine is made by refermenting the juice from the Valpolicella on the warm Amarone grape skins, in the typical “Ripasso” method, which imparts a rich character and personality to the wine. The grapes for the Ripasso Valpolicella are sourced from three of most prestigious Tommasi vineyards: Conca d’Oro, La Groletta and De Buris.

Amarone della Valpolicella Classico

Le Rosse Pinot Grigio
DOC delle Venezie
This Valpolicella Pinot Grigio can be described as sitting between the richer, more concentrated Pinot Grigio from Friuli to the north, and racier styles from the Veneto at large. The nose is spicy with hints of tropical fruit, the flavors clean and crisp, and the body round and soft with a crisp finish.
