Cafayate Valley
This sustainably farmed, single vineyard estate wine is composed of 100% hand harvested Tannat from the Calchaqui Valley, Salta. This fruit driven wine shows raspberry and plum with notes of rose petal and white pepper on the nose. Extremely soft and smooth tannins for Tannat lead the fruit to a soft and velvety finish.
Vineyard
Sourced from the high elevation (5,740 ft) Finca el Retiro Vineyard that is entirely sustainably farmed with distinctive sandy soils. The vines are parral trained, allowing for sufficient canopy management.
Winemaking
Hand harvested and destemmed. Total maceration and fermentation lasts for approximately ten days in stainless steel tanks, following with a light cartridge filtration.
