Attems
Sauvignon Blanc 2025
Venezia Giulia IGT
Attems Sauvignon Blanc captures the essence of Collio DOC, offering varietal elegance, fragrance, and freshness. Hand-harvested from 20-year-old vines planted in marl and sandstone soils cooled by Bora winds, it undergoes gentle pressing and low-temperature fermentation, followed by four months of lees aging. The wine shows a lush, ripe fruit character with bright acidity and medium body, revealing aromas of tomato leaf, kiwi, and verbena, with flavors of white grapefruit, bread crust, mint, and lime in a long, savory finish.

VINEYARD
Characteristic of Friuli are its fertile soils and the
ideal microclimate brought about by the particular
positioning of these lands set as they are between
the sea and the vegetation-rich mountains.
The harsh cold of the mountainous areas is
mitigated by the gentle sea breezes, which bring
with them the brightness of the water refraction of
the Adriatic, supporting the ripening of healthy,
turgid grapes rich in aromatic substances. This
balance of such powerful natural elements ensures
the ideal conditions for varieties such as
Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio and Chardonnay.
WINEMAKING
The grapes were harvested by hand and fermented in in stainless steel tanks. A small portion, about 15%, of the pressed juice benefits from a brief, cold temperature maceration. The must obtained from the soft pressing of the grapes is left to rest for 24-48 hours. Subsequently, on clear must, alcoholic fermentation is allowed to take place in steel vats at 66 degrees Farhenheit, for 15 days. Following the fermentation, the wine rests for four months on noble lees, often kept in suspension.
VINTAGE
The 2025 vintage in Friuli delivered a promising growing season from the outset. A wet winter replenished soil moisture reserves, and a mild, balanced spring gave the vines a strong foundation. Summer brought heat, though noticeably less extreme than the punishing conditions of 2024, with day-to-night temperature swings helping preserve natural acidity and aromatic freshness in the grapes. Friuli posted a yield increase of around 10% compared to 2024, contributing to a broadly abundant Italian harvest.
TASTING NOTE
Straw yellow in color, with green highlights, the Attems Sauvignon has captivating aromas of boxwood, lily of the valley and pomelo. The fresh sensations on the nose are also found in each sip. Mineral and light-bodied.

Pinot Grigio
Friuli DOC
The Attems Pinot Grigio demonstrates all of the amazing qualities of the Collio region in Friuli Venezia-Giulia: it has superb weight and texture, and is mineral-edged, savory, tangy, and lively.
Pinot Grigio Ramato Rosé
Attems Pinot Grigio Ramato continues a traditional way of producing Pinot Grigio in the province of Venice. The term ramato, or "coppery", was used to describe the pink hue of the wine due to the slight contact with the purple skins before pressing and fermenting. This rosé boasts a rich, fruity bouquet, and opens full on the palate, with multi-faceted flavors.
Cicinis
The Cicinis Sauvignon Blanc is an utterly distinctive expression of Sauvignon Blanc. From a single vineyard in the Collio area, the tremendous density and aromatics are joined by a deep and complex texture due to the aging in oak barrels and cement eggs. Truly the Attems flagship.
