Leading luxury publication Robb Report published a feature story on Chateau Montelena. Wine columnist Sara Schneider recently visited Winemaker Matt Crafton at the estate for a robust tasting and tour to learn more about the iconic property in Calistoga. She elaborated on Bo Barret and Matt Crafton’s commitment to continually push boundaries through investments in the vineyards and cellars to craft the best wines possible, with ageability and elegance. As a proof point of this, she noted that Montelena is proudly starting to offer library bottles to consumers as proof of these efforts. The 2005 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon will be re-released into the market alongside the new vintage 2015 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, which is the first vintage that is fully under Crafton’s control.
