This Independence Day, set off some fireworks with these sparkling wines

Connecticut Magazine and its online edition included Juvé & Camps Brut Rosé Pinot Noir NV in an article about the best sparkling wines to enjoy this July 4th weekend and throughout summer.

The writer shares background on Juvé & Camps’ winemaking history, which dates back hundreds of years, and notes that “their first bottle of sparkling wine was produced in 1921, marking the beginning of the family’s commitment to creating the finest premium cava.”

As far as the Brut Rosé Pinot Noir is concerned, the writer says it is “a stunning orange-red akin to strawberry or geranium.” Produced in the same manner as Champagne, it “has a nose brimming with red berries and a hint of hibiscus. Ripe raspberries and cranberries command the palate, which has a delicately creamy mouthfeel and crisp finish. Abundant berries make your brain think sweet, but this is on the dry side.
