Lucien Le Moine

Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru

Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru

As the name suggests, wines from this vineyard are full of charm - beautiful aromatics and weight. Mounir looks for the “charm” in Charmes-Chambertin - a wine with sweetness, fruit, spice, chocolate notes. He feels it is at its best when it is attractive and approachable.

El Porvenir

Amauta Absoluto Malbec

Cafayate Valley

This sustainably farmed, single vineyard estate wine is composed of 100% hand harvested Malbec from the Calchaqui Valley, Salta. This fruit driven wine shows notes of blackberry and blueberry with light baking spices on the nose. A hint of cigar tobacco and milk chocolate lead to a fresh and lifted finish. This is like a dark berry fruit roll up in a glass!

Lucien Le Moine

Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru

Latricières-Chambertin Grand Cru

Latricières is often thought of as a “sturdy” Gevrey-Chambertin Grand Cru, Le Moine’s 2014 has an overtly elegant side that comes through, surprising and exceptionally promising.

Far Mountain

Myrna Chardonnay

Sonoma Valley, Sonoma County, California

Myrna combines Bald Mountain’s surprisingly delicate floral notes that move quickly to ripe yellow and more exotic fruits with salty, lime and green fruit-inflected notes from Thornton Vineyard. The sappy texture of the wine makes its presence felt, and this grows into a more defined and powerful structure with layers of spice persisting through the finish.

Lucien Le Moine

Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru

Griotte-Chambertin Grand Cru

Griotte-Chambertin is one of the most elusive Grand Crus in Burgundy; it’s the smallest Grand Cru in Gevrey at only 3 hectares in size. The vineyard faces north-east, which means the vines are not fully exposed to the morning sunshine - this contributes to the fresher, less masculine style of its wines.

Juvé & Camps

Gran Juvé Gran Reserva

Cava

Since it was first made in 1972, Gran Juvé has always been an emblematic cuvée, representing the best of Juvé & Camps. Categorized as 'Brut' with only 5g/l of dosage, it is only produced in exceptional vintages and is made using the best quality grapes from select vineyard plots. With a very long ageing time in the bottle of about 42 months, it showcases the intensity and complexity that Spanish sparkling wine can achieve.

Il Mosnel Franciacorta

Franciacorta Brut Nature NV

Franciacorta DOCG

The debut of this new cuvée made solely from organically-grown grapes pays homage to the quintessence of the vineyard and to the utter harmony of nature’s components. This assemblage of elegant Chardonnay and subtly fruity Pinot Blanc, with a judicious tot of Pinot Noir to lend structure, matures sur lie for a minimum of 24 months in the cellar. Revealing in the glass a luminous white-gold shot through with pale green highlights, it opens to a thrust of vibrant, crisp fragrances, with cleanly-delineated citron and grapefruit melding gracefully into floral impressions of hawthorn, honeysuckle, and verbena, with just a hint of iodine. At the same time, it conveys crisp fruit notes of white peach and gooseberry, marked by the generous effusion classic to youth, which equally characterizes the full-volumed palate, taut, and energy-laden that concludes with a lively, full-flavored finish.

Realm Cellars

Moonracer

Stags Leap District, Napa Valley

Moonracer is from Realm’s estate vineyard on Wappo Hill in the Stags Leap District AVA. Winemaker Benoit Touquette has worked with the vineyard for years, and the site, with its multiple blocks, elevations, facings, and diverse soils, has character in spades. It is said this elevated site was important to the Wappo Native Americans as it provided the tribe with a central lookout from which to identify intruders. Jack London, who wrote about the curious inter-tribal races that took place during full moons, noted that the Wappos often won. Thus Moonracer, an oblique reference to the earliest inhabitants of the place Realm calls home. The wine is composed each year of the site’s finest lots, creating a Cabernet Sauvignon that is strong and powerful yet also elegant, with refined tannins and plenty of depth.

New Alchemy Distilling

Fleurette Vermilion Gin

Fleurette Vermilion Gin is a close cousin of Fleurette, vapor-path distilled with flowers and botanicals and then infused with hibiscus petals to add a striking natural color, which brings with it a complex palette of both tart and bitter notes. A touch of rose and honey reinforce the floral notes and sweet aromas of the gin. Due to its intricacy, this exquisite gin can only be produced in very limited batches. This unique spirit earned Best in Class in the 2018 Craft Distillers Spirits Competition.

Ponzi Vineyards

Pinot Noir Reserve 2016

Willamette Valley

The Pinot Noir Reserve comes primarily from estate grown fruit on Laurelwood soil in the Chehalem Mountains, including from some of Oregon’s oldest vines. It is hand crafted on a boutique scale, with tremendous attention to detail. An intense wine, it has an explosive nose of sassafras, coffee, sweet plum and spice box; a full and seamless palate with baker's chocolate, blueberry, lavender and tea; and a long and balanced finish.

Trediberri

Langhe Nebbiolo

Langhe

Langhe Nebbiolo is not only one of the greatest values in Piedmont, but often serves as a barometer for the seriousness and talents of a producer. Trediberri's is unquestionably one of the best available. Primarily from their vineyards in La Morra and Roero, this Nebbiolo is also sourced from alongside their Dolcetto vines in Vicoforte.  As winemaker Nicola Oberto exclaims, this is “a wine that's meant to be easy, but certainly not trivial.” It's delightfully food friendly, playing just as nicely with charcuterie as it does with a rich ragu.

Marietta Cellars

Old Vine Riesling

California, United States

Marietta's Old Vine Riesling is the most recent and unique extension of the Old Vine series (or "OVR"). Originally intended as a gift for Scot's partner, Lisa, who is German, the bone dry style of Riesling became a fan favorite and permanent addition. While it is the only wine is the lineup that is not estate grown, it comes from some of California's oldest Riesling vines and offers an extraordinary value and delightful drinking experience.

Van Volxem

Rotschiefer Riesling Kabinett

Saar Valley, Mosel

Named for the iron-rich “red slate” which characterizes the top sites in the Wiltingen Grosse Lagen, this slightly off-dry style is the perfect blend of ripe fruit, invigorating minerality and bright acid. It’s an especially potent partner for spicy and delicate flavors.

Halcyon Wines

California Cabernet Franc

California

A light red blended from two vineyards, this Cabernet Franc is emblematic of a "glou glou" style, with low alcohol, very little tannin, and pops of juicy red fruit character.

Timeplace Wine Co

Grenache

Lodi, California

This absolutely classic and yet uniquely ferrous Grenache is a perfect reflection of the Sheldon Hills Vineyard and Markus Bokisch's commitment to traditional farming methods. The Grenache vines are head-trained, dry farmed, and resting on a bed of red clay soils.

Cobb Wines

Jack Hill Vineyard Pinot Noir

Sonoma Coast

This 2-acre vineyard overlooks the Freestone Valley near Occidental, north of San Francisco in far western Sonoma County. The soils are the sandy loams typical of the ridgetops of this portion of western Sonoma County. Jack Hill is planted to three clones of pinot noir grown on a west-facing slope. Surrounded by dense oak forest and Douglas fir, this steep vineyard produces a graceful and complex expression of coastal Sonoma County pinot noir.

Lynmar Estate

Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

Russian River Valley

At its core, this wine is comprised of Lynmar’s three Russian River Valley vineyards - Quail Hill, Susanna’s and Adam’s - along with neighboring properties that share similar viticultural philosophies.
