Our Story

If you are not familiar with VINTUS as a national importer, a little bit more about us.  In April 2004, Michael Quinttus founded VINTUS based on his desire to develop a focused portfolio of exceptional, family-owned, estate-based producers of hand-crafted wines.  The work since then has been extremely focused: partner with only truly great and compelling estates, and build a team of people just as dedicated to their work.  No compromises.

VINTUS New York was launched in May 2019 to serve as a direct connection to restaurant and retail partners in our intensely competitive backyard of New York.  Our goal is to bring the extraordinary experience of our estates closer to the trade and fine wine consumers.  The most important undertaking since VINTUS was started 15 years previously, another adventure we can’t wait to see grow and develop over the years.
