Vineyard
Sant’Ansano is a hamlet of the Municipality of Vinci, which is the birthplace of Renaissance artist Leonardo da Vinci. The wine zone is part of the Montalbano Hills, an area that has long been suited for the production of wine and was recognized in 1796 by the Bando Granducale as a prestigious wine area.
Winemaking
Grapes are hand harvested. Fermentation, maceration, and aging in concrete tanks.
Vintage
Light ruby red color. Nose is bright & floral, varying from white flowers to exotic fruits. The palate opens with a real fresh explosion, which gives smoothness to the wine. Tannins are velvety, and the finish is sapid, juicy and persistent.
