Wine Press – 7 French Rosé wines perfect for Memorial Day weekend

In honor of the unofficial start to summer, Memorial Day, MassLive shared a list of French rosés to enjoy all weekend and summer long including M de Minuty 2020 and Minuty Prestige 2020.

M de Minuty  is described as “flinty yet floral,” with a “wonderful, subtle finish with hints of peach and lemon. All these understated flavors last nearly half a minute after each taste. A great wine perfect with a wide range of food (oysters, strawberries, trout) or perfect on its own.”

Prestige is “another wonderful, dry, understated rose wine from Chateau Minuty, an outstanding winery located near the Mediterranean Sea in the dream-like village of Saint Tropez.” Writer Ken Ross adds that the wine is refined and “flavors seem more like a passing breeze, gently washing over your palate rather than overwhelming you. A beautiful wine from a picture-perfect place.” Read more HERE

Minuty then became one of the most visible producers in the second half of the 20th century, a result of quality production and commercial foresight when no one in the region could imagine the global phenomenon Provence rosé would become. And then in the last two decades, Minuty defined the vision for and led the unbelievable growth in Provence rosé around the globe.
