Sonoma Coast Wineries Need Your Love Now More Than Ever

Food & Wine contributor Brian Freedman’s latest story touches on the devastation the coronavirus pandemic is causing on the hospitality industry, and how it is still possible to support local wineries by stocking up on bottles to enjoy at home. He hones in on wines from the Sonoma Coast, explaining that while the the region is one of the most important Pinot Noir sources in the country – it would be impossible to categorize the wines with any one consistent style as there are so many sub-AVAs within it. He offers 29 selections of wines to consider purchasing and hunkering down with at home, including the 2017 Cobb Docs Ranch Vineyard – Swan and Calera Selection Pinot Noir, and the 2016 Gary Farrell Gap’s Crown Vineyard Pinot Noir.
