Jean Baumard in Memorium

The November 30. 2023 print issue of Wine Spectator features a lovely column on the passing of our partner from the Loire, Jean Baumard of Domaine des Baumard. Editor Kristen Bieler writes that Baumard was among the first to turn to sustainable agriculture in the 1950’s, and is credited with restoring prominence to the dry wines of Savenneirres.
