We are thrilled that Wine Spectator included the soon-to-be-released Juvé & Camps Brut Nature Reserva de la Familia Gran Reserva 2019 in the December 2024 print issue. The recommendation, featured in the Savvy Shopper section, highlights a selection of Spanish wines that deliver excellent value. 

The flagship premium sparkling wine from Juvé & Camps is showcased as a Smart Buy, and is described as “creamy, elegant; poached apricot, white cheery, grilled nuts, tangerine peel, ginger, honey.” We are stocking up on the remaining 2018 vintage for our holiday plans this season, and hope you do the same.

Regional publication MassLive published a great article about sparkling wine for the holidays, which includes Champagne Bollinger La Grande Année 2015 and Juvé & Camps Brut Nature Reserva De La Familia Gran Reserva 2018.

Champagne Bollinger’s prestige cuvée is described as a “stellar vintage Champagne.”  Continuing, he explains, “made with a blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes it has a wonderful range of luxurious, vibrant flavors, including crisp hints of almonds, toasted butter, cinnamon and candied orange. Decadent, luxurious and delicious!”

The writer says that Juvé & Camps’ flagship wine is one of his favorite Spanish Cavas, describing it as “dry, sparkling, organic wine has a clean, crisp taste with hints of dried lemon, peach and apricots. Its flavors are especially vibrant and delicate since this wine is aged for four years before being sold. A great holiday treat.”

We were virtually transported to Spain while watching actress & entrepreneur Eva Longoria’s new CNN America documentary, Eva Longoria: Searching for Spain, featuring Juvé & Camps. The premiere episode, “Barcelona and Catalonia,” highlights this vibrant Mediterranean hub of creativity, cuisine, and quality-driven winemaking through the lens of the Juvé family.

In the episode, third-generation CEO Meritxell Juvé welcomes Eva to the estate, where she learns about the art of Cava production and discovers the Juvé family’s 100+ years of dedication to crafting premium sparkling wines. The experience ends with them sitting down to enjoy a traditional Catalonian meal paired with Juvé & Camps wines.
