Antonio Galloni has been a champion of Moon Mountain for some time now, pointing out this small appellation’s distinct characteristics and the fantastic wines that can be produced. Later this month Rodrigo Soto of Far Mountain will participate in a Vinous Icons tasting with his upcoming release from The Nunnery vineyard, a truly exciting new vineyard planted and overseen by legendary viticulturist Phil Coturri. Love this line: “The Far Mountain 2023s are off the charts”. Amazing how far this winery has come in five years.
