Ponzi Vineyards: Fifty Years of Original Oregon

Dallas Wine Chick, Melanie Ofenloch, had the opportunity to meet with Ponzi Vineyards Founder Dick Ponzi, President Anna Maria Ponzi and Winemaker Luisa Ponzi in Texas for a special 50th anniversary tasting. Together, the Ponzi family discussed the winery’s evolution in Oregon’s Willamette Valley while tasting through a variety of stunning library wines from their cellars. Today winemaker Luisa Ponzi continues her work with the family of Champagne Bollinger, which acquired the estate in 2021.
