Southern Rhône Valley wines reflect warmth of Mediterranean

Both Château de Nalys Grand Vin wines, as well as the Guigal Côtes du Rhône Rouge and Blanc, were featured in the story “Southern Rhône Valley wines reflect warmth of Mediterranean,” on the Gazette.com (digital edition of the local Colorado newspaper). Wine writer Rich Mauro gave an overview of the Châteauneuf du Pape region to readers and specifically noted the Château de Nalys Grand Vin Rouge was “impressive,” with “lively aromatics, intense dark fruits and complex leather, licorice and spice notes.” As for the Château de Nalys Blanc, Rich described the wine as “amazingly aromatic and flavorful, with peach, citrus, vanilla and brioche making a succulent, exotic wine.” Rich then pivoted to share some of his favorite Côtes du Rhône wines, which included the Guigal Côtes du Rhône Rouge and Blanc, the latter of which is described as “marrying enticing aromas and freshness.” You can read the full story here

While only 8% of the Rhône's production is white, a full 25% of Guigal’s production is white and they are today the single largest producer of whites in the Rhône Valley.

They are relentlessly driven to produce a distinctive and outstanding wine that drives interest in exploring the entirety of the Rhône.
