How slowly or quickly a grape ripens affects taste, other characteristics

Texas wine columnist Gus Clemens featured the 2012 Guigal Cote Rotie Brune et Blonde in “Clemens – Sometimes even grape stems go into fermentation tanks,” which was syndicated to several outlets including USA Today.
